Why It Matters

## If ADAS Isn't Calibrated, Your Safety Systems May Fail

This is not a luxury issue. It's a safety issue. A miscalibrated forward camera can cause lane keep assist to steer you toward oncoming traffic instead of away from it — because the camera thinks the center of the lane is half a foot over from where it actually is. A misaligned front radar can cause automatic emergency braking to miss the trigger point during a panic stop, adding a car length to your stopping distance.
