ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

DG Collision Center wants every DFW driver to be able to use dgcollision.com — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is treated as a requirement on every page we build, not an afterthought.

Our Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. New pages are built against an internal accessibility checklist based on that standard, and existing pages are re-audited as they're updated.

What We've Built In

• Full keyboard access — every interactive element works without a mouse, including our before/after photo sliders (arrow keys adjust the comparison; Home/End snap to either photo) and pop-up dialogs (Escape closes them, and keyboard focus is trapped inside while they're open, then returned to where you were)
• Screen-reader support — semantic landmarks, a skip-to-content link, descriptive labels on icon buttons, and form errors announced through live regions the moment they appear
• High contrast — body text on our dark background measures roughly 12.6:1, exceeding even the stricter AAA threshold; small labels stay above AA minimums
• Reduced motion respected — if your device sets "prefers reduced motion," all animations and transitions are switched off
• Touch-friendly targets — buttons and controls meet the 44×44 pixel minimum, and form text is at least 16px so phones don't auto-zoom on focus
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
• Visible focus indicators on every link, button, and field
• Print-friendly pages — key information (address, phone, directions, FAQs) prints cleanly in black on white

Known Limitations

• Third-party embeds — the interactive driving-route maps on some pages are rendered by an external map provider and may not be fully screen-reader accessible. Our address, phone number, and written directions always appear in plain text on the same page, and a standard Google Maps link is provided as an alternative.
• Third-party platforms — analytics and font services we use may set their own markup we don't control.
