TOYOTA BODY SHOP LEWISVILLE, TX
Camry, Corolla, RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, Sienna — repaired the way Toyota’s manuals write it: published procedures pulled per model and year, genuine Toyota parts pushed on structural and safety components, Toyota Safety Sense recalibrated in-house, and tri-coats like Blizzard Pearl blended so the repair is invisible from every angle. Free loaner, written lifetime warranty, direct billing to every carrier.
DG Collision Center repairs Toyotas to Toyota’s own published procedures — Camry, Corolla, RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sienna. That means hot-stamped ultra-high-strength steel gets replaced, never straightened; genuine Toyota parts get argued for in writing on structural and safety components; Toyota Safety Sense cameras and radar get recalibrated in-house with pre- and post-repair scans; and three-stage colors like 070 Blizzard Pearl get real blend panels. Direct billing to every carrier, a free loaner from our 50+ fleet, and a written lifetime warranty. Your out-of-pocket: your deductible, once.
- Texas is Toyota country — the Tundra and Sequoia are built in San Antonio and Toyota’s North American headquarters is 25 minutes away in Plano. We see the proof on I-35E daily.
- Toyota Safety Sense triggers calibration more than owners expect — windshield (camera), front emblem area (radar), rear bumper corners (blind-spot radar). All handled in-house.
- Tri-coats are the giveaway of a cheap repair — 070 Blizzard Pearl, 089 Wind Chill, and 3T3 Ruby Flare need a blended adjacent panel or the color shifts at an angle.
- Hybrids are the Toyota default now — Camry and Sienna are hybrid-only; high-voltage disable and I-CAR EV training come standard here.
- Truck quirk that saves money: Tacoma and Tundra composite beds shrug off hail — the count lives on the hood, roof, and cab, tallied under proper PDR lighting.
- OEM parts have legal backup — Texas Insurance Code §1952.301 bars insurers from dictating parts by brand, type, or condition. We make that argument for you.
Why A Toyota Deserves A Toyota-Literate Shop
Texas is Toyota country in the most literal sense: the Tundra and Sequoia roll out of Toyota’s San Antonio plant, and Toyota’s North American headquarters sits 25 minutes east of our shop in Plano. On I-35E and the Sam Rayburn Tollway that translates into an endless stream of Camrys, RAV4s, and Tacomas — and into a steady stream of them through our doors after rear-enders, parking-lot hits, and hailstorms. Familiarity matters in this business: a shop that repairs the same eight models week after week knows where the hidden damage lives before the teardown starts.
What actually makes Toyota repair Toyota repair: the TNGA platforms under nearly everything since the late 2010s use hot-stamped ultra-high-strength steel in the pillars and rockers that Toyota’s procedures say to replace at factory seams — never heat, never pull. Toyota Safety Sense rides on nearly every model built since 2018, which turns windshield, front-end, and rear-bumper repairs into calibration events. The paint booth has its own Toyota problem: the best-selling colors are three-stage pearls that punish shortcuts. And the lineup has quietly gone hybrid — the Camry and Sienna no longer come any other way — which puts high-voltage disable procedures into everyday collision work.
Accident or hail, the discipline is the same year-round — teardown, blueprint, one documented supplement, direct billing. Both repairs pictured further down this page are customers’ Toyotas, a Corolla Cross and a RAV4, not stock photos. The general mechanics live on our collision repair and hail repair pages; everything on this page is what’s specific to the badge.
The Lineup
EVERY TOYOTA, AND ITS QUIRKS
Eight models make up most of what DFW drives — each with its own repair personality.
Camry
Aluminum hood since 2018 — repaired in our isolated aluminum bay — and hybrid-only since 2025, so HV disable is now part of every structural repair. Home of the tri-coat reds.
Corolla & Corolla Cross
DFW’s commuter workhorse and our most common rear-end repair — crumple zones do their job and hide damage behind the bumper cover. The silver Corolla Cross in our gallery below is one of them.
RAV4
America’s best-selling SUV, which makes it DFW’s best-represented parking-lot victim. Blind-spot radar lives in the rear bumper corners — a “simple” bumper repair isn’t done until calibration passes.
Highlander & Grand Highlander
The school-run hauler: door edges, quarter panels, and liftgates take the abuse. Three rows of passengers is also three rows of reasons the safety systems get verified by scan before delivery.
4Runner
Still body-on-frame — which means real frame measurement on a bench after a hard hit, not unibody assumptions. Holds its value like nothing else; repair documentation protects that.
Tacoma
Sheet-molded composite bed that laughs at hail and drops the TRD colors on us — Lunar Rock, Army Green, Cavalry Blue. Frame and cab corners are where Tacoma repairs get real.
Tundra
Built in San Antonio with an aluminum-reinforced composite bed. The trade-off: those broad hood and roof panels are exactly what North Texas hail loves. Dent counts happen under PDR lighting here, not in a driveway.
Sienna
Hybrid-only since 2021, and the sliding-door tracks are precision parts — a quarter-panel repair that ignores door alignment comes back. Ours don’t.
Toyota Paint, By The Code
Toyota paints by code, and so do we — the code on your door jamb sticker is where every refinish starts. The catch is that Toyota’s most popular colors are its hardest: the whites and reds DFW buys most are three-stage tri-coats, where pearl particles ride in a translucent mid-coat between base and clear. Spray that mid-coat a pass too heavy or too light and the panel reads a different color at 30 degrees — the classic mark of a corner-cut repair.
Super White 040, Classic Silver 1F7, Midnight Black 218, Blueprint 8X8, Cavalry Blue 8W2, Army Green 6V7 — the rest of the Toyota deck runs through the same spectrophotometer-and-sprayout process. The point isn’t the gear; it’s the refusal to skip the blend panel when the formula alone “looks close.”
The Toyota Repair, By The Book
Five steps, none optional — this is what “repaired to factory procedure” means in practice:
1 — Toyota’s Procedures Come First
Every repair starts in Toyota’s published collision repair procedures for your exact model and year — Toyota revises them constantly, so they get pulled fresh. Where Toyota says replace instead of repair — hot-stamped ultra-high-strength steel in pillars and rockers is the big one — that’s what happens. Nobody pulls hot-stamped steel straight here.
2 — Blueprint At Teardown
Full disassembly of the damaged area, every hidden finding photographed and itemized into one documented supplement. An app-photo estimate prices what a camera can see; a blueprint prices the actual repair. The difference gets paid by the carrier through the supplement process — not by you.
3 — Genuine Toyota Parts, Argued In Writing
On structural and safety components we push genuine Toyota parts and put the argument to the adjuster in writing. Texas Insurance Code §1952.301 bars insurers from limiting coverage by the brand, type, kind, age, vendor, supplier, or condition of parts — that fight is ours to have, not yours.
4 — Paint Matched The Tri-Coat Way
Spectrophotometer reading off your actual panel, the mix proven on a sprayout card, and a blend into the adjacent panel on the three-stage colors — so there’s no edge to catch the light. That’s the difference between “matches in the shop” and matches in a Texas parking lot at 4pm.
5 — TSS Calibration And Scans, In-House
Pre- and post-repair scans run on every job per Toyota’s published position, and Toyota Safety Sense components — windshield camera, front radar behind the emblem, blind-spot radar in the rear bumper — get recalibrated in-house, with the documentation in your delivery file. No dealership sublet adding days to your repair.
