LIBERTY MUTUAL OR SAFECO HAIL CLAIM IN PHOENIX?
Safeco is part of Liberty Mutual, and both point customers to the same Guaranteed Repair Network. It’s optional: Safeco describes its repair guarantee as applying "should you choose" a network shop, and Arizona law (A.R.S. § 20-468) gives you the right to choose any repair facility. Open a comprehensive claim using October 20, 2026 for the East Valley or October 21 for north Phoenix and Glendale. Liberty’s FAQ also says the amount set for repairs is payable to you whether or not you use a network shop. Qualifying claims at DG Collision Center’s Phoenix shop are $0 out of pocket: your insurer pays the repair, and we cover the first $1,000 of your deductible.
The Longer Answer
WHAT THE NETWORK OFFERS, AND WHAT IT DOESN’T CHANGE
What you’d get. Liberty describes more than 2,000 network shops nationwide, inspected and approved by Liberty Mutual, with repairs guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. Safeco’s page describes the same guarantee and says it pays network shops directly, minus your deductible. That’s a fair program, and worth knowing about.
What doesn’t change. Your coverage and your deductible. Liberty’s public claims FAQ says "The choice of repair shops is always yours," and that it will do its best to work with the shop you choose. Outside the network, the guarantee is the shop’s instead: ours is a written lifetime warranty on everything except mechanical.
Read the number for what it is. A network-based or photo estimate is a starting figure, and hail shows more under PDR lights than in a picture. Liberty’s FAQ says that if a shop finds additional or hidden damage, the shop must contact Liberty right away. That’s the supplement step, and we handle it.
SAFECO CUSTOMERS, THROUGH AN AGENT
Safeco is sold through independent agents, so your agent may be your best first call. Safeco Insurance Company of America is one of the larger independent-agent auto writers in Arizona, and you may see Liberty’s name elsewhere in your paperwork. Don’t let the two names slow you down: ask your agent which number to use and who your adjuster is.
Your share. On qualifying claims from the October 20–21, 2026 storms we cover the first $1,000 of your deductible; above that, case by case, and we do our best. You drive a free loaner, and under A.A.C. R20-6-801(H)(5) you’re entitled to a copy of your insurer’s estimate. Our car hail repair in Phoenix page has the prices.
Liberty Mutual®, Safeco® and related marks belong to Liberty Mutual Insurance. DG Collision Center is an independent repair shop, not affiliated with or endorsed by either. Quoted language is from public Liberty Mutual and Safeco pages, checked November 2026; Liberty’s FAQ is written for claims against its policyholders, so ask your adjuster about your own policy.
