PROGRESSIVE HAIL CLAIM IN PHOENIX? YOUR OPTIONS
Open a comprehensive claim with Progressive in its app or online, using the storm date: October 20, 2026 for the East Valley, October 21 for north Phoenix and Glendale. Progressive offers its network shops and Service Centers as options, and its guided photo estimate prices what your camera captured. You aren’t required to use the network; Arizona law (A.R.S. § 20-468) lets you choose any shop. Progressive’s repair guarantee applies at its network shops, for as long as you own or lease the car; at DG Collision Center the repair carries our own written lifetime warranty. Qualifying Progressive hail claims at our Phoenix shop are $0 out of pocket: Progressive pays the repair, we cover the first $1,000 of your deductible, and you drive a free loaner.
The Longer Answer
WHOSE GUARANTEE, WHOSE ESTIMATE
Two guarantees, two places. Progressive backs repairs done at its network shops with its own guarantee. Choosing another shop doesn’t change your coverage; it changes who stands behind the work. At our shop, that’s our written lifetime warranty on everything except mechanical: if anything ever goes wrong with one of our repairs, we fix it.
The guided photo estimate is a starting point. It prices what you photographed. Hail dents that only show under PDR lights don’t make it into those pictures. We count every dent under the lights and send Progressive a supplement with photos for anything the first estimate missed.
Deadlines Progressive works under. In Arizona, A.A.C. R20-6-801 gives an insurer 10 working days to acknowledge a claim and generally 30 days to investigate it. Once you’ve submitted proof of loss, the accept-or-deny decision is due within 15 working days, and if more time is needed the insurer has to tell you why.
The money side. Progressive pays the repair at its true cost. On qualifying claims from the October 20–21 storms we pick up the first $1,000 of your deductible; if yours is higher, the remainder is case by case, and we do our best. While the car is in, one of our 30+ Phoenix loaners is yours at no cost: Progressive is billed for it if your policy has rental coverage, and if it doesn’t, you still pay nothing.
