STATE FARM HAIL CLAIM IN PHOENIX? HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
Open a comprehensive claim with State Farm through its app, website or your agent, using the storm date as the date of loss: October 20, 2026 for the East Valley, October 21 for north Phoenix and Glendale. State Farm may suggest a shop from its Select Service network, but that’s a recommendation, not a requirement. State Farm’s own claims guidance says you can choose any shop you like, and Arizona law (A.R.S. § 20-468) backs that. At DG Collision Center’s four-bay Phoenix shop, qualifying State Farm hail claims are $0 out of pocket: State Farm pays the repair and we cover the first $1,000 of your deductible. You drive a free loaner from our 30+ car fleet while we work.
The Longer Answer
SELECT SERVICE, PHOTO ESTIMATES AND YOUR CHOICE
Select Service is optional. It’s State Farm’s network of shops with agreements, and the claim line often suggests one. You can say, “Thanks, I’ve chosen DG Collision Center in Phoenix,” and the claim proceeds. State Farm’s program guarantee applies at its network shops; at our shop, the repair carries our own written lifetime warranty.
Treat the photo estimate as an opening number. State Farm’s photo tool can produce a quick first estimate from your pictures. On hail, a phone camera in a driveway sees far fewer dents than PDR lights in a shop. We count every dent under the lights and send State Farm a supplement with photos for what the first estimate missed. You don’t have to argue the number yourself.
What Arizona requires of the insurer. Under Arizona’s claim rule, A.A.C. R20-6-801, an insurer generally must acknowledge your claim within 10 working days, finish investigating within 30 days unless it reasonably can’t, and accept or deny within 15 working days after proof of loss. It also can’t require you to travel unreasonably far to a particular shop.
What you pay. For qualifying claims from the October 20–21 storms, we cover the first $1,000 of your deductible (above $1,000, case by case, and we do our best). The rest of the repair is paid by State Farm, billed honestly at the true cost. You drive a free loaner from our 30+ car Phoenix fleet; when your policy includes rental coverage, we bill State Farm for it, and when it doesn’t, you still pay nothing.
