Serving Frisco Drivers

The Luxury Collision Repair Shop for Frisco's Tech-Corridor Fleet

Frisco's driveway fleet doesn't look like anywhere else we serve. This is the tech-corridor hub of north DFW — roughly 230,000 residents in 2024 (up from 200,000 at the 2020 census per the City of Frisco), anchored by The Star (Dallas Cowboys World HQ and practice facility), PGA Frisco (the PGA of America headquarters campus), Stonebriar Centre, Toyota Stadium, and Riders Field. The corporate footprint next door — Toyota North America, Liberty Mutual, JPMorgan Chase, Boeing, and a dense belt of tech and financial-services employers along the Dallas North Tollway and Legacy West corridor — shapes what parks in Frisco driveways: newer luxury SUVs, Teslas, and European performance vehicles, often two or three per household. Range Rover Sport / Velar, BMW X5 / X7, Audi Q7 / Q8, Lexus RX / GX, Tesla Model Y / X, Porsche Cayenne / Macan — these are not occasional on our floor, they are the median Frisco vehicle.

The damage patterns we see from Frisco reflect that fleet and that geography. Dallas North Tollway and SH 121 commuter-stacking rear-enders are the highest-volume category — the DNT / SH 121 interchange at Sam Rayburn Plaza is one of the tightest weave patterns in north DFW, and the tollway cruises 55-70 mph right up to the bottleneck. When a stacking accident happens at highway speed, airbags engage, structural rails flex, ADAS brackets behind the bumper bend, and radar + camera alignment drifts — which is why our in-house ADAS recalibration capability matters more on Frisco work than almost any other corridor. The Star parking-garage strikes are the second pattern — Cowboys practice facility garages, corporate-tenant decks, and event-lot exit ramps all produce the low-speed sideswipe / door-ding flow you'd expect from a facility that pulls DFW-wide traffic. Stonebriar Centre and PGA Frisco retail-lot contact rounds out the cosmetic-repair end — mall parking, restaurant valet zones, Omni PGA Frisco Resort drop-offs, all generating the weekly fender-scrape volume you'd expect from one of the highest-traffic retail corridors in the state.

We treat every one of these repairs the way the engineers intended — computerized frame measurement on every collision-damaged unibody, OEM parts on every safety-critical component, pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans, and full collision repair plus paint & refinishing under the same roof. On the aluminum-intensive Teslas, BMW 5/7/8 Series, Audi A8 / Q7 / Q8, and F-150s that populate Frisco driveways, that means aluminum GMA welding handled by I-CAR Platinum-certified technicians — not a sublet. On the Tesla Model 3/Y/S/X work our team sees weekly, that means the full Tesla body shop capability: aluminum plus high-strength steel mixed-material joining, Autopilot recalibration, and OEM Tesla parts sourced direct. See our luxury & exotic repair umbrella for the Porsche / Ferrari / Lamborghini / Bentley / Corvette framework. Lifetime paint warranty. Free loaner cars so your commute to Legacy West, downtown Dallas, or back up the DNT keeps moving. No charge for the written estimate. Start online below, or walk in any weekday between 8:30am and 5:30pm — we're 20-25 minutes west on SH 121.

What We Handle

COLLISION REPAIR SERVICES FOR FRISCO

The damage patterns we see most from the 75033 / 75034 / 75035 / 75036 corridor — plus everything else.

Rear-End Collision Repair

SH 121 tollway stacking hits are never "just a bumper" — 55-70 mph impacts flex structural rails and damage ADAS brackets behind the fascia. We repair the unibody, replace OEM safety components, and recalibrate every sensor before you drive it home.

Front-End Damage

Hoods, fenders, headlights, radiator support, and frame horns. Airbag, crash-sensor, and condenser replacement on OEM procedures — never recycled guesswork on safety-critical parts common in new-construction vehicles.

DNT / SH 121 Stacking Hits + The Star Garage Damage

The Frisco signature repair. Highway-speed rear-enders at the DNT / SH 121 Sam Rayburn Plaza weave, the SH 121 / Preston interchange, and the I-35E merge. Plus garage-strike door dings, bumper curb rash, and mirror damage from The Star corporate decks, Stonebriar Centre lots, and PGA Frisco parking. Spectrophotometer factory color match; ADAS recal on every repair that needs it.

Frame Straightening

Computerized frame measurement on Blackhawk Korek + Hein-Werner SHARK. Accurate to 1mm of factory dimensions. Free on every collision vehicle — even estimate-only visits. Frame repair detail →

ADAS Recalibration

Lane-departure cameras, blind-spot radar, adaptive cruise, parking sensors — calibrated to OEM static and dynamic spec after every collision. With Frisco's newer vehicle fleet, this is mandatory, not optional. ADAS detail →

Paint & Refinishing

PPG Envirobase waterborne basecoat in a downdraft heated booth. Color-matched to your vehicle's factory paint code via spectrophotometer — metallics and pearls included. Lifetime warranty. Paint service detail →

The DG Standard

WHY FRISCO DRIVERS CHOOSE DG

Not the closest chain shop off SH 121 — the closest shop that does the work the way Tesla, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Range Rover, and every OEM engineer actually want it done.

01

Frisco's population roughly tripled since the 2010 census (~117,000 then, ~230,000 today), and the driveway fleet reflects the tech-corridor household: newer luxury SUVs, EVs, and European performance vehicles as the median rather than the exception. Combine that with SH 121 and the Dallas North Tollway running through town at 55-70 mph and the average collision we see is structurally serious, not cosmetic. Gold Class is the shop-wide I-CAR designation (only ~10% of U.S. body shops hold it). Platinum is the technician certification covering structural repair, steel GMA welding, and aluminum GMA welding — the last one is non-negotiable on the aluminum-intensive Teslas, BMW 5/7/8 Series, Audi A8 / Q7 / Q8, and aluminum-body F-150s that populate Frisco driveways. A general-purpose body shop without aluminum certification cannot legally weld those panels per OEM procedure.

02

Insurers have preferred-shop lists, and most of the "recommended" shops for Frisco customers are in Plano, Allen, or McKinney — farther, busier, and not always Gold Class. Texas law — Insurance Code §1952.301 — says you don't have to go there. When an adjuster pushes you toward a network shop, you just say "I want my vehicle repaired at DG Collision Center, 693 Metro Park Cir, Lewisville, TX." Call done. We handle the claim paperwork, adjuster scheduling, and supplement negotiations from there — especially useful on the higher-value luxury and EV repairs where supplement negotiation often makes the difference between OEM parts and aftermarket substitutes.

03

Most collision shops in DFW sublet their ADAS recalibration — a windshield shop here, a dealer service bay there, two extra days in the schedule, and zero quality control over the final aiming. We do every calibration in-house on Autel MaxiSys target boards, Bosch DAS 3000 tools, and Hunter HawkEye Elite alignment verification, with a printed report filed against the repair. For Frisco's luxury + EV + ADAS-heavy fleet that's the difference between a repair that works and one that silently doesn't — Tesla Autopilot, BMW Driving Assistant, Lexus Safety System+, Audi pre sense, and Range Rover driver-assist all require post-repair recalibration, and lane-keep steering you the wrong way at 65 mph on SH 121 or the DNT is not a theoretical problem.

04

Free loaner cars on every collision repair from our 50+ vehicle loaner fleet — so your commute to Legacy West, downtown Dallas, the Plano corporate corridor, or DFW Airport keeps moving. Pickup coordination available for Frisco customers in 75033 / 75034 / 75035 / 75036 who need a ride home after drop-off — Stonebriar, Starwood, Panther Creek, Phillips Creek Ranch, Newman Village, The Grove, Lone Star Ranch, Hollyhock. Lifetime paint warranty for as long as you own the vehicle — not three years, not "until you trade it in." We also offer deductible assistance up to $1,000 on qualifying repairs, applied directly at pickup. Combined with our direct-to-insurance claim handling, most customers pay less out of pocket than the initial deductible number suggests.

From The Shop Floor

Three Recent Repairs From Frisco Drivers

Customer identifying details omitted; vehicles and circumstances are real recent work from 75033-75036 drivers.

2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range, Phillips Creek Ranch — rear-ended on SH 121 westbound at the Dallas North Tollway interchange. Tollway-speed rear impact (estimated 30+ mph closing speed) collapsed the rear bumper cover, bent the trunk lid inboard, and damaged the rear blind-spot radar housings on both sides. Tesla's high-strength steel rear structure held up well, but the radar brackets behind the fascia and the rear camera housing both needed replacement. We sourced Tesla OEM parts direct (10-day wait — typical for post-2023 Model Y), rebuilt the bumper assembly, color-matched Pearl White Multi-Coat via spectrophotometer (a four-coat finish that requires careful sequence to hide the blend), then ran full static and dynamic Tesla Autopilot recalibration on our Autel MaxiSys before delivery. Total in-shop time: 14 business days. Tesla Insurance settled direct with us; driver had a free loaner the entire time.

2022 Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic, Newman Village — front-end rebuild after a left-turn collision at Eldorado Parkway and Coit Road. Driver's-side fender, hood (aluminum), grille assembly, headlight unit, and the entire radiator support all needed replacement. Range Rover's aluminum-intensive construction requires segregated aluminum GMA welding tooling — our I-CAR Platinum aluminum-welding tech handled the inner fender panel and radiator-support reconstruction. Frame came out 1.4mm within factory spec on the Blackhawk Korek bench. OEM JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) parts sourced through the JLR North Texas dealer network — 9-day lead on the headlight assembly, faster on the rest. Color-matched in Santorini Black (a deep Land Rover signature metallic), recalibrated forward-collision camera + Driver Assist suite, alignment verified on Hunter HawkEye Elite. 16 business days door-to-door; Chubb agreed-value policy settled direct.

2021 Lexus RX 450h, Stonebriar — Stonebriar Centre parking-deck strike on the upper level near the Macy's wing. Another driver clipped the front quarter and ran without leaving a note (security cam footage caught it; police report filed). Driver-side fender bent, headlight cracked, front bumper cover scuffed and torn at the wheel-arch joint. Lexus OEM fender, headlight assembly, and bumper cover sourced through Park Place Lexus Plano (3-day delivery). Repainted in Eminent White Pearl — a tricky three-coat pearl that requires four-panel blend (front fender, door, A-pillar, hood edge) to avoid tiger-striping under Stonebriar's parking-deck sodium lights. Recalibrated Lexus Safety System+ forward-collision and lane-departure camera. 7 business days door-to-door; uninsured-motorist coverage on the customer's State Farm policy settled the claim.

If any of these sound like your situation, start your estimate below or call (972) 219-0864 — we'll walk through what the repair will look like before you commit.

My entire experience with DG Collision and Shah was exceptional. I called a few places to get my Hummer EV repaired, but went with Shah because he was the friendliest and most informative. He kept me updated and dealt with insurance directly. Parts took a long time to arrive — final pieces were delivered to the wrong place and Shah personally went to the other shop to pick them up so I would get my car back sooner.

Common Questions

FRISCO COLLISION REPAIR FAQ

How far is DG Collision from Frisco?+
About 20-25 minutes door to door. The fastest route is Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) westbound out of Frisco, exit I-35E south briefly, then Garden Ridge Blvd and Valley Ridge Blvd into the Metro Park Circle business area in Lewisville. From Stonebriar Centre or The Star at SH 121 / DNT, plan 20 minutes off-peak and 25-30 during the SH 121 commuter stack. Alternative: Dallas North Tollway south to SH 121 westbound adds 3-5 minutes but avoids the DNT / SH 121 interchange weave during rush.
Is SH 121 actually faster than the DNT from Frisco?+
For most Frisco addresses yes — SH 121 westbound runs 55-70 mph straight to the I-35E merge. The DNT is faster only if you're already on it; taking DNT south to SH 121 west adds the interchange weave at Sam Rayburn Plaza. Our rule of thumb: if you're east of Preston Road (SH 289), take DNT south to SH 121 west. If you're west of Preston, take SH 121 west directly. Stonebriar, Starwood, and Panther Creek addresses are typically closer to SH 121 direct.
Do you handle customers from The Star, Stonebriar, and PGA Frisco?+
Yes — regular volume from all three corridors. The Star (Dallas Cowboys HQ) generates garage-strike door dings and low-speed bumper contact from the practice-facility and corporate-office parking decks. Stonebriar Centre produces the weekend mall-lot flow (door dings, cart hits, minor fender benders). PGA Frisco corridor households send us their newer luxury SUVs. We also cover Stonebriar, Starwood, Panther Creek, Phillips Creek Ranch, Newman Village, The Grove, Lone Star Ranch, and Hollyhock. Free loaner cars, pickup coordination, and 24/7 towing across 75033, 75034, 75035, and 75036.
Do you pick up vehicles or provide loaner cars for Frisco residents?+
Yes to both. Free loaner cars are available for any Frisco customer whose vehicle is in for collision repair, subject to availability — we hand you the keys at drop-off so your commute to Legacy West, downtown Dallas, or the Plano tech corridor keeps moving. If your vehicle isn't safe to drive on SH 121 or the DNT, we coordinate customer pickups from anywhere in Frisco and 24/7 towing across DFW. Call (972) 219-0864 to arrange.
Which insurance carriers do you work with for Frisco customers?+
Every major carrier: State Farm, Allstate, Geico, USAA, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Nationwide, Travelers, Tesla Insurance, and more. Under Texas Insurance Code §1952.301, Frisco drivers have the legal right to choose any licensed repair shop regardless of what's on their carrier's preferred-shop list. Your insurer must honor that choice. We handle the entire claim — supplements, parts negotiation, adjuster paperwork — directly, so you aren't chasing phone calls between tech-corridor meetings.
Is my collision repair covered by a warranty?+
Yes. Every paint and refinish job carries a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. If the paint ever peels, fades, or cracks from our work we make it right at no charge. Our structural and workmanship warranty covers labor for a full year on any subsequent issue. We've stood behind every repair since 1978.
Do you repair Tesla, Range Rover, BMW, Audi, and Lexus vehicles from Frisco?+
Yes — luxury and EV work is the majority of our Frisco volume because Frisco's driveway fleet skews significantly toward newer luxury SUVs and EVs. We hold I-CAR Platinum certification for structural repair and aluminum GMA welding (required on Tesla Model S / X aluminum, BMW 5/7/8 Series aluminum, and Audi A8 / Q7 / Q8 aluminum-intensive construction). Full in-house ADAS recalibration on Tesla Autopilot, BMW Driving Assistant, Audi pre sense, Lexus Safety System+, Range Rover driver-assist, and every other modern suite. See our Tesla body shop and luxury repair pages for capability detail.
What factors affect collision repair cost in Frisco?+
Severity of damage, OEM parts availability, vehicle make and year, aluminum vs steel construction, and whether ADAS sensors need recalibration. Frisco's driveway fleet runs heavily toward newer luxury SUVs (Range Rover Sport / Velar, BMW X5/X7, Audi Q7/Q8, Lexus RX/GX, Tesla Model Y/X) — which means parts often come through brand-specific dealer warehouses (longer lead times than mass-market) and ADAS recalibration is virtually always required post-repair. Your written estimate is free and itemized down to the labor hour.
Do I need an appointment?+
No. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours — Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 10am-1pm. For Frisco customers who want to minimize the tollway trip, text damage photos to (817) 907-2822 first and we'll give you a ballpark before you head west on SH 121.
How long will my repair take?+
Light cosmetic damage (Stonebriar parking-lot scrapes, garage-strike door dings, bumper scuffs): 2-4 days. Typical bumper-and-panel repair: 5-7 business days. Luxury SUV or Tesla work with OEM parts on longer lead: 1-2 weeks. Major collision damage requiring frame straightening or structural welding: 2-3 weeks. We text photo updates throughout the repair and coordinate your loaner car so you aren't waiting without transportation.
Do I have to use my insurance company's preferred shop?+
No. Texas Insurance Code §1952.301 gives you the right to choose any licensed collision repair facility regardless of what's on your carrier's preferred-shop list. Just tell your adjuster: "I want my vehicle repaired at DG Collision Center, 693 Metro Park Cir, Lewisville, TX." That one sentence locks in your choice and we take over the paperwork.
Can you help with my deductible?+
On qualifying collision repairs we offer deductible assistance up to $1,000 — applied directly at pickup. Combined with our direct-to-insurance claim handling and free loaner, most Frisco customers pay less out of pocket than they expected when they first called.

Collision Terminology

COLLISION REPAIR GLOSSARY

Quick reference for the technical terms that show up on estimates. Tap any term on mobile to expand.

OEM Parts (parts)
Original Equipment Manufacturer parts — made by the same supplier that produced the original part at the factory. Required for airbags, structural reinforcements, and crash sensors on every repair. On Frisco's luxury fleet, OEM parts often come direct from Tesla, BMW, Audi, JLR (Jaguar Land Rover), or Lexus warehouses with longer lead times than mass-market parts.
ADAS (systems)
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems — lane-departure cameras, blind-spot radar, adaptive cruise, parking sensors. Most ADAS components require recalibration after collision repair. We perform both static and dynamic calibrations per OEM spec.
Tech-Corridor Newer-Fleet Repair (Frisco specialty)
Frisco's tech-corridor household runs significantly newer cars than older DFW suburbs — the median Frisco vehicle is a factory-warranty-age luxury SUV or EV (Range Rover Sport, BMW X5, Audi Q7, Lexus RX, Tesla Model Y). Newer-fleet repair means OEM-spec procedures across the board: aluminum-intensive welding, ADAS recalibration on every relevant repair, and OEM parts (not aftermarket) on safety-critical components — all of which we handle in-house.
Aluminum GMA Welding (Frisco-relevant capability)
Gas Metal Arc welding on aluminum panels and structures — required by OEM repair procedures on Tesla Model S / X aluminum bodies, BMW 5 / 7 / 8 Series aluminum hoods and doors, Audi A8 / Q7 / Q8 aluminum-space-frame construction, and Ford F-150 aluminum body panels. Aluminum welding requires a separate setup, dedicated tooling, and I-CAR Platinum certification to avoid cross-contamination with steel work. A general-purpose body shop without aluminum certification cannot legally weld these panels per OEM procedure.
DNT / SH 121 Tollway Stacking (Frisco traffic pattern)
The Dallas North Tollway and Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) intersect at Sam Rayburn Plaza — one of the tightest weave patterns in north DFW. Both tollways cruise 55-70 mph, and the merge / lane-change geometry produces a steady volume of highway-speed rear-end and sideswipe collisions on the way to the bottleneck. Damage typically involves bumper covers, radar / camera modules, structural rails, and ADAS recalibration — not cosmetic-only.
Texas §1952.301 (law)
Section of the Texas Insurance Code that guarantees policyholders the right to choose any licensed collision repair facility regardless of an insurer's preferred-shop list. Frisco drivers are protected by this statute — important because most Frisco insurers route to Plano, Allen, or McKinney shops by default.
Spectrophotometer (paint)
A handheld device that reads the exact color values of your vehicle's factory paint. Used to produce a mixing formula that matches the panel being refinished to the panels around it — critical for metallics and pearls (Tesla Pearl White Multi-Coat, Range Rover Santorini Black, Audi Glacier White, Lexus Eminent White Pearl).
Loaner Car (customer service)
A courtesy vehicle provided free of charge to customers whose vehicles are in for collision repair — DG maintains its own fleet of 50+ loaner vehicles. Covers the transportation gap when a customer's auto policy doesn't include rental reimbursement.
