Where The Metroplex Keeps Its Horses

Between US 377 and I-35E, the metroplex changes shape: lots grow to acres, fences turn to pipe rail, and the driveway is long enough to have a name. Argyle anchors the horse country; Lantana sets a master-planned community down in the middle of it; Bartonville, Double Oak, and Copper Canyon keep the one-acre-minimum character that made people move here in the first place. None of the five has — or wants — a body shop inside its limits. Know Your Roads

THE DAMAGE ESTATE ROADS ACTUALLY PRODUCE

The FM roads set the terms. FM 407 carries all five towns’ traffic on two lanes with left turns directly into estate drives — the turn-in clip is the corridor’s signature collision, and at highway speed it’s structural, not cosmetic. After dark the deer own the fence lines; a whitetail strike is usually a comprehensive claim (not collision, and typically no fault recorded), and the damage runs deeper than the crumpled hood suggests — radiators, condensers, camera brackets, and headlamp mounts all live in the strike zone. We document the full depth on teardown so the claim pays once, correctly.

The property itself writes the second list. Long drives that curve blind to the road produce backing collisions; gate posts and pipe fencing collect quarter panels; gravel sandblasts rockers and lower doors; and anything that tows eventually learns how a gooseneck or bumper-pull behaves in a tight turn — bed-side creases, tailgate damage, and hitch-area contact we see weekly from properties like these. Working trucks get working-truck treatment: repairs sequenced so you’re not stranded during a haul week, finishes matched to factory so the truck still presents right at the sale barn or the school pickup line, whichever matters that day.
