Start at the knot. The North East Mall district sits where 820, 183 and 26 tangle, and it manufactures two damage classes at once: interchange weaves — drivers sorting toward ramps make late lane changes, and the resulting sideswipe carries hidden wheel scrub and suspension load under the visible scrape — and lot density, where door edges, cart alleys and backing paths meet holiday-season volume. A lot hit that looks like a scuffed bumper cover often hides a cracked bracket or a shifted absorber behind it; a teardown estimate catches what a parking-lot glance prices wrong.

Then ride the grid.
