HAIL DAMAGE REPAIR — TROPHY CLUB & ROANOKE, TX

The two towns at the 114–170 junction take their hail as a pair: when stones hit one, the log usually pins the other within thirty minutes. Sixteen days of inch-plus hail since 2015 — five of them in 2024 alone — with tennis-ball hail in Roanoke, golf balls in Trophy Club at 114 and 170, and a three-inch stone west of Roanoke logged by an NWS employee. Westlake and Marshall Creek share the ring. Published PDR pricing, claims billed direct, free loaners, free pickup across 76262.

TL;DR

Trophy Club and Roanoke share one five-mile ring — Westlake, Marshall Creek and Corral City ride inside it — and the ring has logged 20 hail days since 2015, 16 at an inch or larger. The towns take storms as a pair: on June 11, 2023, tennis-ball hail hit Roanoke at 7:40 PM and golf balls reached Trophy Club near Highway 114 and 170 by 8:00, while the same evening dropped a 3.00″ stone south of Bartonville and Flower Mound’s famous 4.25″ at Cross Timbers and Shiloh — both inside this ring’s east edge. 2024 alone produced five inch-plus days, including a March 14 three-incher west of Roanoke logged by an NWS employee and the May 27 volley that ping-ponged between the towns for half an hour, hailing four straight minutes just north of Roanoke and reaching the Seventeen Lakes neighborhood. The record even keeps odd hours — half-dollars in Roanoke at 4:05 AM in February 2019, an inch at 9:12 on a May morning in 2025. So far in 2026 the only ring entry is half-dollar hail in Southlake on April 28. We’re 20–25 minutes away via SH 114, or zero: free pickup and loaner delivery across 76262. Published pricing (light hail $750–$1,500, typical full-vehicle claim $2,500–$8,000), direct billing, and the first $1,000 of the deductible covered on qualifying hail claims.

  • Two towns, one storm track: the log pins Roanoke and Trophy Club minutes apart on every big evening — 2023 and 2024 both prove it.
  • Five days in 2024: March 14 (3.00″), April 8, May 22, May 24 and May 27 — one season, five dated claims.
  • The ring’s giants sit on its seams: the 4.25″ Cross Timbers stone belongs to Flower Mound, the 2021 whoppers to the Keller side — both credited where they fell.
  • 20–25 minutes, or none: free pickup with a loaner left at the door, anywhere in 76262.

The 114–170 Junction

TWO TOWNS, ONE STORM TRACK

Trophy Club and Roanoke are separate towns with separate councils and one shared meteorology. The supercells that ride the 114 corridor don’t read the city-limit signs, and the log proves it in timestamps: on June 11, 2023, tennis-ball hail was falling in Roanoke at 7:40 PM and quarter-to-golf-ball stones reached Trophy Club near Highway 114 and 170 at 8:00 sharp. On May 27, 2024 the volley ran the other way — Trophy Club quarters at 6:24, ping-pong in Roanoke at 6:29, back to Trophy Club at 6:37, Roanoke again at 6:39. A car parked in one town during a logged storm in the other was almost certainly under the same cell; for a hail claim, that’s not trivia, it’s corroboration. One page covers both towns because the weather already treats them as one address: 76262.

The ring’s smaller names matter here too. Westlake logged the inch hail south of Roanoke Road in March 2022; Marshall Creek pins appear in 2021, 2022 and 2024; Corral City caught quarters in May 2024. None of those towns will ever get a page from anyone — they’re inside this one, with the same free pickup and the same published prices. And a note of honesty about the giants: this ring’s edges brush two famous records — Flower Mound’s 4.25″ Cross Timbers stone fell inside the east edge on that same June 2023 evening, and the 2021 whoppers near Hillcrest Airfield and 377 & Mt Gilead belong to Keller’s record. We credit them where they fell; what they say about this ring is that the heavy machinery passes directly overhead.

One Season, Five Claims

FIVE INCH-PLUS DAYS IN 2024 ALONE

Most rings on our map log one or two damaging days a year. In 2024 this one logged five. March 14: an NWS employee recorded a three-inch stone two miles west of Roanoke at 5:53 PM. April 8: half-dollar rounds over Roanoke through the 9 o’clock hour, golf balls southwest of Double Oak. May 22: ping-pong on the Double Oak seam at lunchtime, quarters near Corral City. May 24: half-dollars north of Marshall Creek at dinner. And May 27 — the volley: thirty-seven minutes of entries bouncing between the two towns, a two-inch stone just north of Roanoke that the log says “hailed for approx. 4 minutes,” ping-pong over the Seventeen Lakes neighborhood, dimes reaching Westlake and the Southlake seam.

Five dated events in one season has a practical consequence: a 2024-model car that lived outside here may carry overlapping damage from more than one storm, and carriers settle those honestly only when the dents are mapped against dates — which round dented the roof, which added the hood. That’s documentation work, it’s free here, and it’s the difference between one clean claim and a “pre-existing damage” argument. If the dents are still sitting there from last spring, the dates haven’t gone anywhere: every one of them is in the federal record below.

The Public Record

THE TWO TOWNS’ HAIL RECORD — 1″+ DAYS SINCE 2015

Each row is a National Weather Service local storm report logged in Trophy Club, Roanoke, or within five miles of the junction — a ring that carries Westlake, Marshall Creek and Corral City whole and touches the Southlake, Keller, Double Oak and Flower Mound seams. Point-report honesty cuts both ways, as always: a fairway with no witness stays out of the log, and a seam pin doesn’t convict a Trophy Club driveway. Dates and sizes are the currency, and this ring is rich in both.

2024’s five entries aside, the pattern to respect is the pairing: nearly every row above touches both towns or lands between them. The metro-wide season math is in our DFW hail-season data guide, and the two neighboring records this ring trades stones with are on the Keller and Flower Mound pages. The April 2026 outbreak — whose last round put the Southlake pin on this table — has its own storm page with the full four-day log.

After The Storm

EXPENSIVE DRIVEWAYS DRAW CONFIDENT STRANGERS

A verified storm over 76262 is a traveling crew’s jackpot: the vehicles are new, the deductibles are high, and the gates of a golf-course community open for a clipboard more readily than anyone admits. The pitch here skews upscale — “concierge” hail repair, “we handle everything with your insurer” — but the paperwork underneath is the same folding-table paperwork, and it fails the same nine checks. Before signing anything, run it through our hail-scams guide: nine tells, each anchored to the Texas statute that makes it a tell — including the rule that a contractor cannot negotiate your insurance claim for repairs it performs itself.

Hold two lines at the door. Texas gives you until midnight of the third business day to cancel a contract signed at your home — a legitimate shop will hand you that fact unprompted. And any offer to “absorb” your deductible by writing the estimate high is insurance fraud under Tex. Penal Code §35.02, filed under the policyholder’s name. The lawful version is printed and boring: our program covers the first $1,000 of qualifying hail-claim deductibles from our own margin, on an estimate your carrier sees whole.

The Insurance Side

THE TWO-TOWN HAIL CLAIM, DONE PROPERLY

The framework is three sentences. Hail is comprehensive — no fault, nothing against your driving record, and on the agreed-value and collector policies common in these ZIP codes it works the same way. The shop is your choice under Tex. Ins. Code §1952.301, whatever network the claims line prefers — on a Porsche or a base F-150 alike. And 28 TAC §5.7016 forbids nonrenewal of a personal auto policy solely over weather claims; premiums carry no such lock, and the honest mechanics are in the rates guide.

Our end is the file: dent maps drawn under raking light and matched to the dated rows above — including the which-storm split a five-event season like 2024 demands — direct billing with every carrier, and supplements argued from photographs; in our 2026 State Farm files, every hail claim needed at least one. You file the claim (the guide makes it a ten-minute job), pay the deductible once — first $1,000 covered on qualifying hail claims — and drive a loaner meanwhile. Liability-only on a ranch truck? The liability-only guide prices the cash conversation straight.

Several panels, deep or cracked paint$5,000–$10,000+Tennis-ball-and-up strikes — PDR plus refinish where paint broke
Typical full-vehicle claim$2,500–$8,000Where most carrier-paid hail claims land
Full vehicle, dense but clear$5,000–$9,000Roof, hood, deck lid and both bodysides
Full vehicle, deep / glass / cracked paint$7,500–$15,000+The three-inch class — March 2024’s stone west of Roanoke

Two truck notes for a two-truck-garage market: a 2015-and-later F-150’s aluminum panels work-harden around every dent — the slow-and-warm technique on our F-150 hail page exists for exactly that — and late-model Silverados and Sierras split aluminum swing panels over steel, mapped on the two-metals page. When a three-inch stone meets anything older, the will-it-total guide runs Texas’s 100%-of-value arithmetic honestly.

Trophy Club & Roanoke Hail Questions

TROPHY CLUB & ROANOKE HAIL FAQ

Was there hail in Trophy Club or Roanoke in 2026?+
The only 2026 entry in the five-mile ring so far is half-dollar hail photographed in Southlake on April 28 — the last round of the four-day April outbreak — on the ring’s east edge. Nothing has been logged in the two towns themselves this year, and we’d rather report that plainly than manufacture urgency. The most recent in-town entry is the inch of hail emergency management logged in Roanoke at 9:12 AM on May 6, 2025.
What’s the biggest hail ever logged here?+
The ring’s own biggest entry is the three-inch stone an NWS employee logged two miles west of Roanoke on March 14, 2024. In the towns proper: tennis-ball hail in Roanoke and golf balls in Trophy Club on June 11, 2023. The ring’s east edge also caught Flower Mound’s 4.25-inch record stone at Cross Timbers and Shiloh that same 2023 evening, and the 2021 giants near Hillcrest Airfield fell just past the line on the Keller side — both credited to those records, not claimed for this one.
Did 2024 really have five hail days here?+
Five, each federally dated: March 14 (the three-incher west of Roanoke), April 8 (golf ball near Double Oak, half-dollars over Roanoke), May 22 (ping-pong on the Double Oak seam at lunchtime), May 24 (half-dollars by Marshall Creek), and May 27 — the thirty-seven-minute volley between the towns, with two inches falling for roughly four straight minutes just north of Roanoke. A car that sat outside through that season may carry overlapping damage from more than one date, which is exactly what a mapped, dated estimate untangles.
My car was in Roanoke but the report says Trophy Club — does that matter?+
Not to the claim. The towns sit minutes apart under the same storm track, and the log routinely pins both inside half an hour — 7:40 PM Roanoke and 8:00 PM Trophy Club in June 2023, alternating entries through the May 2024 volley. An adjuster reads a five-mile ring, not a city-limit sign; what matters is matching your dent pattern to the dated entry, and both towns’ entries live in the same federal record. (One ZIP, too: 76262 covers you either way.)
What does hail repair cost in Trophy Club or Roanoke?+
The published table, identical on every DG page: light one-to-two-panel hail, $750–$1,500; deep dents on a panel or two, $1,500–$4,000; several panels with paint intact, $2,000–$5,000; the typical full-vehicle carrier claim, $2,500–$8,000; severe damage with cracked paint or glass, $7,500–$15,000+. Cash PDR runs $50–$150 per dent plus R&I trim labor when access requires disassembly. On qualifying hail claims the first $1,000 of the deductible is covered, in writing on the estimate.
Do you cover Westlake, Marshall Creek and Corral City?+
Yes — all three live inside this ring and inside the table: Westlake’s inch-hail entry south of Roanoke Road in March 2022, Marshall Creek’s pins in 2021, 2022 and 2024, Corral City’s quarters in May 2024. Free pickup and loaner delivery reach every one of those addresses, and the estimate, the billing and the warranty work exactly as they do for Trophy Club and Roanoke proper.
Will a hail claim raise my rates or endanger my policy?+
Your policy is protected by rule: 28 TAC §5.7016 bars carriers from nonrenewing a personal auto policy solely over weather claims, and hail files as comprehensive — no fault, nothing on your record. Your premium has no statutory ceiling, so the honest answer is that it can move — but most of what 76262 feels after a storm year is territory-wide pricing that lands on claimants and non-claimants alike. The rates guide separates the real levers from the folklore. (General information, not legal advice.)
